After a couple of months summer break it’s time again for WRC and JVM. Fast gravel roads are waiting for the drivers this weekend in Rally Finland. A competition at least one of the Swedish drivers has been longing for.
“Rally Finland is the competition I look the most forward to during the whole year. It’s very fun to drive. The roads are quite similar to the Swedish, but with much more jumps than at home”, says Patrik Sandell.
Even though the ordinary rally car has been in rest since Rally Sardinia in the end of May, Patrik and his co-driver Emil Axelsson hasn’t been on their lazy side. With a borrowed car they have done very fast times both in Norway and home in Östersund. They do have the speed with them.
“We drive for victory. There’s nothing else. Full attack from the first meter”, says Sandell.
