Today Patrik and Emil has been showing the world of rally that they are competitable against the other JWRC drivers. They started the day quick and safe. After two stages they were second behind PG Andersson. After the third, Patrik and Emil, claimbed up to first place.
At the fifth stage the boys went to fast in to a corner, where Perez, with the Focus WRC, already had went offroad. Patrik tried to avoid a accident, but failed. The Clio went in to the Focus in high speed, but luckily the car wasn´t damaged. A bit shocked and with the codriver door opened, they continued the stage.
After day one Patrik is second place, between PG Andersson and Peter Zachrisson. So far, the Swedes dominates the JWRC, but is two more long days to go.
