Now everyone´s back in Sweden after a very tough and a very rewarding weekend for Patrik, Emil and the rest of the Team. Rally Finland is one of the hardest Rally in the WRC circus. It´s not many of the first year driving juniors that get true all stages and go over the finishline in this Rally, but Patrik and Emil did and that on a seventh place in the JWRC class.
-Yes, it been a experience this weekend, the hardest part of this competition was to go the right line over all crest and at the same time don´t cut to much. We learned the hard way. 4 punctures that all together costs us 14 minutes of time. At the worst we where on a 16 place but We succeed take in places and in the end we finished on a seventh place and did get 2 points. This after I feel very pleased whit the two points that we´ve got, says Patrik.
The table of Junior class looking really good in Swedish point of view. PG is in the lead after he´s second place who gave him 8 points in Finland. The gold is going to Sweden, it´s just are, lauging Patrik.
I think it´s really fun that the fight is between two from Sweden, PG is a unbelievable fast and a very good driver. It´s incredible that we can fight against him at this level this our first year. And that we got a chanse to win, that was my dream before, says Patrik.
Next Junior World Rally Championship competition is Rally of Turkey 13-15 october, and to that Patrik vill continue he´s training program.
