On the starting blocks this weekend for the two first CLIO Renault Sport R3 of the Swedish team Kruse Promotion and its "Clio Junior Team" in the Junior Rally Championship.
1st challenge: Start the race !
The cars were assembled in record time (10 days) not allowing the team to carry out any testing. Patrik Sandell and Kalle Pinomäki only profited from the shakedown (official last sessionof test) of the rally to take in hand their new before the departure of the first special one of the 1ere handle of the JRC in Norway.
2nd challenge: stopwatches in Signal 5
As of the first special one, Patrik Sandell carries out times classifying it in SIGNAL 3.
On nearly 400 kilometers the special ones in three days of rally, both Clio maintained constant stage times, classifying them in the TOP5 and achieving 2 best times. A beautiful start !
3rd challenge: a podium for Sandell
At the end of the weekend, Patrik Sandell finishes second behind Per-Gunnar Andersson. As for Kalle Pinomäki, it finishes 10eme.
Appointment over the second round of the JRC on the roads of Portugal of March 29 at April 1.
